Domonique F. McCord, MA, LCSW

 

Domonique McCord is a staff therapist at The Family Institute.

She received her bachelor’s of science in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University and her Social Work master’s degree from the University of Chicago. 

 

Ms. McCord most recently worked as the Associate Director of the Institute’s Park Boulevard Program which worked to strengthen Chicago Housing Authority families by assisting them in achieving self-sufficiency, physical and emotional well-being, and community integration. She also worked with the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center were she administered psychosocial family assessments for sexually abused children, conducted risk assessments to children with emotional and behavioral impairments due to sexual abuse, co-facilitated group therapy for sexually abused children and their parents and facilitated individual therapy for pregnant and parenting teenage girls. Previous therapeutic services include administering mental health assessments and facilitated individual and family therapy for children with the Screening Assessment and Supportive Service Program of Ada S. McKinley.

 

Ms. McCord treats individuals, families, children and adolescents.
