Amy C. Wagner, PhD, LMFT

Dr. Amy Wagner is a licensed clinical psychologist and a licensed marital and family therapist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Dr. Wagner has over 25 years of experience treating children, adults, couples and families. She is a Clinical Lecturer in the Dept. of Psychology, and teaches in the Center for Applied Psychological and Family Studies. She is the Coordinator of the Family Institute's marriage and family therapy clinical training program for Northwestern Univeristy Feinberg School of Medicine Psychiatric residents, and supervises Psychiatry Residents as well as junior staff members at the Family Institute.

 

Dr. Wagner graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia. She completed her internship training at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago and postdoctoral training in family therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic and the Institute for Juvenile Research Family Systems Program at UIC.

 

Dr. Wagner is an approved supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and a member of the American Family Therapy Academy. She is available to see clients in Evanston, Northbrook and downtown Chicago.

 

Dr. Wagner specializes in treating divorced and remarried individuals, couples and families.
