Dan Gill is a licensed clinical professional counselor at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. He received his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University with clinical training at The Family Institute's Bette D. Harris Family and Child Clinic. Mr. Gill was previously an affiliate therapist at The Family Institute, and has prior experience serving families formed by foster parenting and adoption.

Mr. Gill presents frequently in the Chicagoland area at schools and agencies on the parenting of young children, adolescents, and young adults transitioning to and back from college.

Mr. Gill also has extensive experience facilitating groups for teens inside private and public school settings around life transitions, social skills enrichment, and family matters.

Clinical Interests: Children with anxiety, depression, academic underachievement and concerns related to parents' divorce and/or remarriage; adolescents and young adults with relationship and identity/self issues; adult marital and relationship issues; parenting issues with teens and young adults; assertiveness concerns; negotiation of expected and unexpected life transitions; loss
