Scholarships

A limited number of partial scholarships are available through The Family Institute. Application materials for these scholarships can be downloaded here. Applicants should complete and submit this scholarship application with other application documents.

 

The number of scholarships is limited and based on one or more of the following criteria:


1. Financial need
2. Academic merit
3. Experience and interest in working with culturally diverse populations

 

Applicants representing racial and ethnic minorities are encouraged to apply.

 

The number of scholarships available varies from year to year. When a scholarship is awarded, the funds are divided equally between the two years of the program. Students awarded scholarships must remain in good standing with the program and are required to participate in one of the following activities:

  • Clinical work in The Family Institute Community Program
  • Assist a professor with a programmatic or scholarly project
  • Work on a research project

Scholarships amounts range from $5,000 to $15,000, with the amount divided equally between the two years.
