Harris Family Scholarship Fund

The Harris Family Scholarship Fund expands educational and clinical opportunities for students in the Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy Program. The Scholarship Fund supports the professional training of promising students and helps promote diversity within the profession of marital and family therapy. Additionally, the Scholarship Fund helps address the urgent need for quality mental health services in low-income minority communities.  For more information, see the Harris Family Scholarship description or contact William Russell at (847) 733-4300, ext. 636.

The Family Institute and Alumni Association Community Scholarship

Students are encouraged to apply for partial scholarship assistance through The Family Institute upon acceptance into the program. To request an application, contact the Education Program Manager at (847) 733-4300, ext. 206. These funds are designated to support students who have worked or who plan to work in a setting that serves an underserved population.  Additionally, partial funding may occasionally be made available to students through various research projects at The Family Institute (See Research at The Family Institute).  At this time, Northwestern University does not offer fellowships or assistantships for the MSMFT program. Such assistance is typical of PhD programs and is rare among Master's-level programs.
