www.adoptioninstitute.org – The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute provides adoption professionals and others with an interest in adoption research, policy and practice with easy access to the most up-to-date information.

www.cradle.org – The Cradle is a private, non-profit child welfare agency/adoption agency, licensed by the State of Illinois and Kansas. Their mission is to benefit children by providing education, guidance and lifelong support on parenting choices.

www.CAFFA.org – CAFFA (Chicago Area Families for Adoption) is one of the largest adoptive parent support groups in the Chicagoland area. They are dedicated to providing information, education and support to adoptive and preadoptive families. CAFFA represents a diverse population – many families have adopted across transracial/transcultural lines. The percentage of domestic and international adoptions represented are almost equal. Many of the organization's families have both adopted and biological children. CAFFA offers a monthly newsletter, educational programs, support groups, playgroups and an annual conference.
