
Marina Eovaldi, PhD, LMFT
Marina Eovaldi is a licensed clinical psychologist and licensed marraige and family therapist at The Family Institute at Northwestern Univeristy. She is a clinical lecturer in Northwestern University's Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy Program.
She received a master's degree in educational psychology and a PhD in counseling psychology from Northwestern University.
Prior to earning her PhD, Dr. Eovaldi's experience included teaching at pre-school, elementary, secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels; developing curriculum; training staff; coordinating parenting programs and consulting with both public and private school systems. She also holds an Illinois State Teaching Certificate and a Montessori Teaching Certificate.
Since joining the staff of The Family Institute, she has served as the director of postgraduate education and the coordinator of practicum training, and has been involved in community programs. Most recently, she has been coordinator of the Adoptive Families Program. Dr. Eovaldi is an approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
She consults with a variety of public and private schools in the Chicago area, as well as for the Chicago Children's Museum and the Rush Neurobehavioral Center. She frequently gives parent lectures for the Northwestern University Center for Talent Development.
Dr. Eovaldi treats individual adults and children, couples and families.
