Cheryl Rampage, PhD

Dr. Cheryl Rampage is a licensed clinical psychologist and Senior Vice President for Programs and Academic Affairs at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Dr. Rampage maintains an active clinical practice specializing in the treatment of couples and individuals.

Additionally, she is an associate clinical professor in Northwestern University's Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy Program, and has directed The Family Institute's Postgraduate Clinical Fellowship Program. She is an approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Dr. Rampage received her PhD in clinical psychology from Loyola University of Chicago in 1978. She was the founding Director of The Family Institute's Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy Program. Prior to moving to Chicago in 1989, she was an associate professor of behavioral sciences at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she taught in and directed a master's degree program in marriage and family therapy.

Dr. Rampage has written a book on family therapy, as well as numerous book chapters and journal articles. She is a frequent presenter at national conferences.

She treats individuals, couples and families.
