
Reginald C. Richardson, PhD, LCSW
Dr. Richardson is a licensed clinical social worker and a staff psychotherapist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. In addition, he is a clinical lecturer in Northwestern University's Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy Program.
He holds undergraduate degrees in psychology and social work, a graduate degree in psychiatric social work and a doctorate from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Richardson managed The Family Institute Park Boulevard Program, a service and research mental health program working with residents of public housing. Prior to that program, he coordinated Family Institute Community Outreach services at Stateway Gardens public housing development and at Farren Elementary School.
His research has focused on understanding behavioral problems in children of color, parenting practices in kinship foster care and evaluation of social service programs.
Dr. Richardson treats individuals, couples and families.
