Alexandra Hambright Solomon, PhD

Dr. Solomon is a licensed clinical psychologist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University.

She is a clinical lecturer in Northwestern University's Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy Program and co-teaches the Northwestern University course, Marriage 101: Building Loving and Lasting Partnerships. She is a frequent presenter on issues related to intimacy and marriage, including premarital and newlywed concerns.

She gained experience in marital and family therapy and research as the Dr. John J.B. Morgan Fellow at The Family Institute while she was working on her PhD in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University. Her internship was completed at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Counseling Center.

Dr. Solomon has experience in crisis counseling, group therapy and short and longer term psychotherapy with individuals, couples and families.

Dr. Solomon treats adults, both as individuals and couples, adolescents and families.
