Tip of the Month
Sharing knowledge is a vital part of the Institute’s mission. To widely disseminate knowledge about family relationships, the Institute created Tip of the Month, our two online eBlasts. One is geared specifically toward couples and the other toward families.
Grounded in research and best clinical practices, the “Tips” highlight how to promote strong couples and healthy families by focusing on timely and relevant topics. Each Tip of the Month is written by a member of the Institute’s clinical staff. The “Tips” are concise and informative.
Did you know that there is a way to “Complain Skillfully” or that the least understood emotion is “Toxic Shame”? Did you know that “Standing Tall” can boost your mood and promote greater confidence in children? Did you know that we teach one of life’s key lessons to children “When We Apologize”? Start reading our “Tips” and you will find answers to these and many other questions.
The Tip of the Month is posted on our website and sent to email subscribers who enjoy the varied content month-to-month. Subscribers report they appreciate the convenience of reading the eBlast on their own time. There is no cost for the subscription.
Sign up today by clicking on the box below and checking which Tip(s) you’d like to receive. If you’d like to receive both the “Couple” and the “Family” Tips, we’ll be happy to email them both directly to your inbox.
