The Family Institute is available for in-person therapy. For in-person care, we require clients to wear masks at all times and clients ages 5+ must be vaccinated against COVID-19. All on-premises staff of The Family Institute and students, per Northwestern, are required to be vaccinated. Clients will need to complete a Client Health Pledge — Agreement for In-Person Services prior to their first in-person session and abide by all health and safety guidelines.
Many of our clients have expressed interest in the continued availability of teletherapy services or for anyone not vaccinated — know that teletherapy will continue to be an option, as it is an empirically supported and effective mode of treatment.
Please note, we are scheduling all initial appointments as teletherapy sessions at this time. During your initial session or sessions, you can discuss whether or not in-person therapy makes sense for you. Not all therapists are providing in-person therapy services.
As we offer a new blended model of services, the health and wellbeing of our community remains top of mind.
