Karl Briedrick, MA, LPC is a Postgraduate Fellow at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. He graduated with his Masters in Counseling from Northwestern University. He received his undergraduate degree from New York University at the Gallatin School. Karl offers psychotherapy to individuals addressing concerns around mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, grief, chemical dependency and relationship issues for individuals and couples and with members of the LGBTQ community. Karl also loves working with adolescents and young adults as they struggle through the complexities of their emerging adulthood. Having previously worked as a musician and writer, Karl is also uniquely attuned to the challenges facing artists and specializes in working with creative professionals to navigate the individual needs of their practice and process. In working with clients, Karl creates a space of warmth, acceptance and depth though empathetic dialogue. Karl works with clients to develop collaborative strategies for creating meaningful, life-long change.
