Ms. Zinaman's area of specialization encompasses working with toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school aged children and their families. She is well versed in treating clients with presenting issues such as: ADHD, anxiety, selective mutism, high functioning autism, socialization issues, the impact of learning challenges related to self-esteem, oppositional and disruptive behavior including anger management. She works closely with parents on behavioral management techniques and provides ongoing support and psycho-education around the presenting issues. In addition, Ms. Zinaman possesses expertise in treating children with special needs and/or medical conditions as well as their parents and siblings.

Ms. Zinaman is a strong proponent of collaborating with school personnel, physicians and other providers involved with the client and family to help facilitate optimal functioning in all settings. She can conduct observations in natural settings and provide consultation.
