Ms. Van Pelt attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for both Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees, where she began her training using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help her clients understand the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and use this understanding to make life-changing differences in their mental health.
