Parenting is hard, and it doesn't come with a manual.

At The Family Institute at Northwestern University, our parent coaching services offer support grounded in evidence-based strategies and guided by licensed clinicians. Whether you're facing everyday parenting challenges or navigating complex behaviors, we're here to help you grow with your child — not just manage them.

Parent coaching can benefit families by directly supporting parents and caregivers with the tools and insights needed to navigate the unique challenges that their family faces. Parents work one-on-one with a trained clinician, who has expertise in child development and mental health issues, to learn skills and strategies that help to alleviate parental stress.

Parent coaching doesn't just support parents — it helps children thrive. If you're interested in learning more about this therapeutic service, book an appointment online or contact our Client Care Team at 847-733-4300.
