About
I see therapy as a space for growth and discovery where clients can build resilience, deepen their relationships, and feel empowered to live more authentically.
Lindsey draws from psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and integrative frameworks to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. Her work centers on helping clients build insight, confidence, and resilience by identifying their strengths, values, and internal resources. She is especially committed to supporting clients in developing stronger coping strategies, communication skills, and self-advocacy in both individual and relational contexts. With a background in working with youth on the autism spectrum and individuals facing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family conflict, Lindsey brings a compassionate and collaborative approach to her work. She is passionate about empowering clients—especially youth, families, and couples—by deepening self-awareness and supporting them in navigating both internal and external challenges. As a Hispanic woman with academic foundations in philosophy and social justice, Lindsey is dedicated to practicing through an intersectional and culturally responsive lens. She has served underserved populations through The Family Institute’s Community Program and other community mental health settings, integrating an understanding of how culture, race, religion, socioeconomic status, sexuality, and gender identity impact mental health. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered.
