Kate Boudet co-facilitates multiple didactic skills groups in the DBT program. Ms. Boudet was a postgraduate fellow on the Mindfulness & Behavior Therapies team and a clinical intern with The Family Institute’s dialectical behavior therapy program where she worked with adolescents and adults. Prior to graduate school, Ms. Boudet completed clinical practicums with Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida in child and teen grief programs, and 2-1-1 Big Bend where she answered various crisis hotlines including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Disaster Relief helplines. Ms. Boudet’s clinical interests are adolescent suicidality, behavioral skills training and neurocounseling. She uses a wellness-based approach and helps clients use their strengths to live more fulfilling, effective lives. She believes therapy should be an overall enjoyable process and uses humor and empathy to form meaningful relationships with her clients.
