Academic Bio

Mr. Venketramen helps couples, individuals and families overcome a variety of conflicts related to finances, attachment styles, intimacy, addictions, family transitions, mood disorders, infidelity and discernment therapy.

With individuals, he guides his clients as they navigate through life transitions, find work-life balance, work towards overcoming depression and anxiety, and build supportive and nurturing relationships. His method of therapeutic intervention is collaborative, empathic and experiential, as he strives to nurture clients’ inherent strengths in order to remove roadblocks and facilitate healing and healthy functioning.

Before becoming a professional therapist, Neil spent over 20 years as a financial and business consultant working for a CPA firm (Deloitte), and then coaching business owners to build their business practices. In addition to his MSMFT degree, he holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance. Neil specializes in working with family businesses, specifically family’s relationships and its business interests.
