About
I believe healing begins when we feel safe and understood, and that includes honoring the cultural stories that shape who we are. In therapy, I help children and families draw from their strengths and cultural values to create meaningful change and deeper connection.
Chorong Lee, Ph.D., AMFT (she/her) is a systemic therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families across diverse life stages. She has trained at the Florida State University Center for Couple and Family Therapy and the FSU Multidisciplinary Center, providing therapy to young children together with their parents, as well as to college students, adults, couples, and families. Dr. Lee draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and systemic family approaches to create a safe and collaborative space for clients.
Her clinical work includes supporting children and parents in strengthening emotional regulation, helping couples navigate relational challenges, and guiding families through life transitions. She has also facilitated trauma-informed parenting interventions.
Dr. Lee is committed to honoring cultural differences and is especially passionate about supporting families navigating intergenerational and cultural stressors. She works from a client-centered, humanistic perspective, integrating evidence-based practices to help clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and foster meaningful connections.
