About

Xiaozhou Huang, M.S. (she/her) is a Marriage and Family Therapist who provides bilingual (Mandarin, English) therapy to individuals, couples, and families. She earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University, where she completed her clinical training at The Family Institute’s Bette D. Harris Family & Child Clinic and Community Program. Xiaozhou has experience working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, family conflict, life transitions, identity development, and cross-cultural adjustment.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Xiaozhou spent five years working at a parenting technology company, where she collaborated with professionals in child development, psychology, and education to create resources for parents and families. That experience reinforced her appreciation for the many developmental, relational, and contextual factors that influence individual and family well-being, and continues to inform her clinical work today. Xiaozhou approaches therapy from a relational and systemic perspective, recognizing that people’s experiences are shaped by their relationships, developmental histories, cultures, and broader social contexts. She works collaboratively with clients to better understand the patterns that influence their lives and relationships while building on their existing strengths and resources.
