This training group teaches adults powerful tools for maintaining their mental and emotional well being. These tools include:
- Distress tolerance
- Emotional regulation
- Interpersonal effectiveness
- Mindfulness
If you attend this skills training group, you must also attend individual therapy with a therapist who works within the Dialectical Behavior Therapy model.
What to Expect
Our training group exists to provide you with the skills you need to manage and respond to your daily experiences. It also offers you the perspective and encouragement unique to a group setting. You will learn side-by-side with others and gain a better understanding of the skill sets through ongoing discussion and collaborative activities.
Participant Requirements
To supplement what you learn in the group class, participants must enroll in individual therapy with a therapist who works within the Dialectical Behavior Therapy model.
