With your health and safety, as well as that of our team and larger Chicagoland community in mind, The Family Institute at Northwestern University will be providing teletherapy for all upcoming appointments; in person sessions will not be available following the close of business today, Wednesday, March 18.

If you have an upcoming appointment, you will hear from your therapist in the coming days. Your therapist will provide you with instructions and a secure link through which you will access your session.

We are pleased to provide continuity of care and offer high-quality therapy through a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform. As long as you have a computer or phone with a camera and internet connection, teletherapy is an option for you. If you do not have a camera, phone sessions are available. You can read more about teletherapy here.

As many of us adjust to new routines in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, closed restaurants and gyms, children home from school, and working remotely, we are fortunate that technology can help us to continue to care for our mental health and well-being. Please take care of yourself and stay connected.
