Academic Bio

Stefan Vasic, Ph.D. (he/him) graduated with his doctorate in counselor education and supervision from the College of William & Mary in May 2025. With his dissertation, Stefan investigated factors impacting relational health for first-generation college students. Stefan's research interests include counselor preparation and moral injury. More broadly, Stefan applies his existential/humanistic lens in his research by considering how the counseling field intersects with systemic conditions to promote stronger personal relationships and greater sense of autonomy. He has recently moved to Chicago and looks forward to exploring the city with his wife, and will be busy trying to keep his cat from eating his house plants.
