Join us for a transformative, two-day, online intensive workshop exploring the foundational teachings of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Designed for clinicians and open to all levels of experience, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to practice both formal and informal mindfulness meditations while discovering the profound benefits of this evidence-based program — all from the convenience of your home or office.

With over 40 years of clinical research, MBSR has shown improvements in immune function, mental clarity, cognition, sleep quality, and emotional regulation. Typically delivered as 2.5-hour weekly sessions over eight weeks (plus a 7.5-hour silent retreat), this condensed format allows participants to experience key elements of the program in just two days.

Together, we will learn to notice and shift our automatic, habitual reactions to thoughts, emotions, and body sensations through a series of guided mindfulness practices. These include:

  • Body Scan Meditation
  • Mindful Eating
  • Awareness of Breath Meditation
  • Sitting Meditation: Open Awareness
  • Walking Meditation
  • Mindful Movement (standing and lying-down yoga postures)
  • Loving-Kindness (Metta) Meditation
  • Mountain Meditation

These practices will be interwoven with didactic teachings on stress physiology and the difference between stress reactivity and stress responsivity.

While this is a shared learning space, it is also an invitation to simply arrive, be held, and learn valuable ways to sit with pain and suffering. No prior mindfulness experience is required — just a willingness to show up as your authentic self from moment to moment.

You're encouraged to adjust your schedule to attend both days. This helps to ensure a safe and supportive environment that honors our unique differences and learning styles.

Both sessions will be held over Zoom. Details on creating a supportive practice space at home, or in an office, will be shared with registrants before July 23rd.
