Dr. Rafacz’s passion and specialty area is sex therapy and she enjoys working with individuals and couples to help them address issues related to sex. For couples, common reasons for seeing a specialist in sex therapy include addressing desire concerns, sexual discrepancies, conflict, infidelity, nonmonogamy/polyamory, and communication problems around sex.  She works with clients with sexual performance concerns including difficulties with arousal including erections, difficulty in achieving orgasm/low pleasure, premature or rapid ejaculation, impaired sexual function due to medical or health problems, sexual pain, or sexual compulsivity. With individuals, Dr. Rafacz can help clients to explore gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship issues, and any sexual functioning concerns. She brings safety and insight into all relationships including LGBTQ+ and nonmonogamy/polyamory.

Dr. Rafacz uses an integrative approach to treatment; she aims to work collaboratively with clients in an educational and solution focused manner while providing a supportive, non-judgmental and affirming space. When working with either individuals or couples, she works with them to recognize their patterns, increase self-awareness, develop healthy sexual identities, and to help each individual/couple increase their skill sets and better understand their own beliefs and values.
