• April 13, 2018

Love takes work. We know that to be true, yet with the demands of kids, jobs, volunteer work, and family, it is all too easy to put our romantic relationships on the back burner. In this webinar, Dr. Alexandra H. Solomon will discuss what it takes to nurture emotional and sexual intimacy in a long-term relationship. Dr. Solomon is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Northwestern University, a staff therapist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and the author of Loving Bravely: 20 Lessons of Self-Discovery to Help You Get the Love You Want (New Harbinger, 2017).

By the end of this webinar, participants will:

• appreciate the complexities of modern love and marriage.
• understand why the quality of our romantic relationship profoundly shapes the quality of our lives.
• recognize why couples need relational self-awareness to have a happy and healthy romantic relationship.
• have user-friendly tools, exercises, and practices that they can use to bridge commonly-occurring constraints to intimacy.
